My Sadguru, Shree Aniruddha Bapu emphasises the importance of reading Shree Saisatcharita – the biographical Grantha (holy scripture) that contains stories of Shirdi’s Sadguru Shree Sainath. The Shree Saisatcharita, authored by Late. Shri Govind Raghunath Dabholkar, known as Hemadpant, is not only the biography of Sadguru Shree Sainath, but also of those Bhaktas who performed service at His Lotus Feet.

Hemadpant documents the stories of these Bhaktas, who witnessed Shree Sai and experienced the divine play of His grace. These stories show us a way of life and help us tide over the perils of worldly life by obtaining the grace of Sadguru. Furthermore, Shri Hemadpant also mentions about his own journey of how he achieves the grace of Sadguru Shree Sainath and stays indebted to Him forever.

I found this video, wherein Pujya Samirdada tells the significance of Shri Hemadpant’s journey, which reveals the glory of multi-faceted Sadguru and the wonders of His grace.

New Wave

A new wave at every moment,
Hits the rock-bottom of our heart.

The waves splash onto the rocks,
Breaking it into the sand particles.

Nothing else refines the rocks better,
Than just the waves of the ocean.

The immenseness of this ocean of love,

कळवळ्या पोटी कळकळ ही तुझी,
धावून येसी तू बाळा लागी.

Sant Tukaram (1936): Powerful Representation Of The Unbreakable Bond Of Love!

Back in the early 2000s, my father purchased two DVDs of films by Prabhat Film Company, one of those was of Sant Tukaram (1936). As someone who has been upbrought in a household inclined towards spirituality, I was often told stories of great saints, warriors and the incarnations of God.

This film, featuring Shri Vishnupanta Pagnis in and as Sant Tukaram, increased my keenness about the stories of the attributes of the divine. The astounding ways in which the Paramatmatattva (the principle that is the Parmatma) helps the Bhaktas in direst of circumstances had a great influence on me.

Rainclouds

Grey clouds in the blue sky,
Tell us something new each time.

Clouds follow us wherever we go,
Hold cool shelter upon us in the blazing sun.

Grey as they seem to be,
Cast no shadow do they.

The world only gets greener each day,
As it rains more and more every moment.

Give us the breeze and rainfall they do,
As and when they know that it’s time.

Nothing that we offer can ever be enough,
But the rainfall continues;
So does the increasing insatiable thirst.

आनंद के झरने

कोई और नहीं जानता, क्या नाता है तेरा मेरा।
पहचान नहीं पाता, कोई ये लीला तेरी।

गिने चुनो को ही प्रेम अपना बतलाते हो,
बाकी सभी को खामोश रहकर अपने जलवे दिखते हो।

नामुमकिन क्या है तुम्हे? ऐसा तो कुछ भी नहीं।

फिर भी जीवन का धैय सफल करने की सीख,
प्रयास करने वालो को ही देते हो।

एक सफल जीवन का रहस्य, अनिरुद्ध भक्तिभाव चैतन्य ही है।

इस घने अथाह भवसागर में,
उस पावन आनंद के झरने में हमें तुमही भिगोते हो।

यह अनिरुद्ध पिपासा कायम रहे दिल में,
येही हर श्रद्धावान की चाहत है बापू से।

अनन्य सोहळा

अनिरुद्ध नामाचा गजर फुटे वाचेसी,
गदगदून वाहे मुखी झर्‍यासारखे.

दोलायमान नूरे तत्क्षणी,

मन डोलत असे नाम गजरी.

सारे उत्सव दडलेले ह्या नामात,
सोहळा हा अनन्य चैतन्याचा.

बापू भेटे येथेची झणी,
नाचत असता नामी दंगे.

अनुभवी विरघळत अभाव,
नामझरे फोडी भक्तिभावे पाझर.

आठवणींचा अविस्मरणीय ठेवा

३१ डिसेंबर २०१९ चा ‘अनिरुद्ध भक्तिभाव चैतन्य’ कार्यक्रम होऊन आज एक आठवडा होत आहे. तरीही त्या कार्यक्रमाच्या आठवणी अगदी दवबिंदू सारख्या ताज्या आहेत. ओतप्रोत वाहणारा खजिना म्हणजे नक्की काय हे हळू हळू उलगडत आहे.

“आम्ही तिथे होतो”, “आम्ही बापूंना पाहिले”, “बापूंचा अंदाज़ आगळाच होता”, “जुन्या आठवणी नव्याने अनुभवल्या”, “हा सोहोळा इतका भव्य असेल, असे वाटले नव्हते”… असे सर्व विविध प्रकारच्या प्रतिक्रिया मनातील बापूंप्रति असणार्या भावना नित्य जागृत ठेवत आहे. आजही असेच वाटते की अजूनही ‘तो मोठा दिवस’ यायचा आहे…किती तयारी करावी व किती नाही. ‘बापू येतील तर कसे येतील?’- आजही हि उत्सुकतेची भावना मनाला वेड लावते.

A Pleasant Visit To Shree Punyakshetram-Neembgaon, Amalner

Over the years, my parents and I had heard of the beauty, the divinity of Shree Punyakshetram, located in Neembgaon, Amalner. It is the month of Margashirsha when we Shraddhavans observe the Vardhaman Vratadhiraj. This Vardhaman Vratadhiraj is a sacred vow, the sovereign vow, the Mahamarga that rids even the most extreme sinners of their sins and helps them elevate and rapidly prosper their way up, on the path of Bhakti and achieve the higher purpose in life.

भक्तांसंगे जल्लोष

अनिरुद्ध राजाचे आगमन,

हेची चैतन्याचे खरे लक्षण.

जग जेठी विश्वनाथ बापू,

नाचे आम्हां संगे पसरुनी बाहू.

चुकलेली वाट वळवूनी नेत,

निरागस भक्तांना जवळी घेत.

ढोल-ताशा, जल्लोश सारा,

एका आकृतीत सामावूनी घेत.

दोन श्रद्धावान-हस्तात वर देई,

अनंत पटीने फुलवी बाग चैतन्याची.
